Founded in 2017, Compartment S4 is a design practice with studios based in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. It is a multidisciplinary practice, providing a range of design services including architecture, urban design & planning, interior design, rural and urban social infrastructure, landscape, and research & publication. Co-founded by 8 partners, CS4 is a collective providing people-centric design solutions rooted in its immediate context. Their iterative design process seeks to achieve social, economic, and environmental sustainability. As a collaborative practice with shared expertise across the design and build spectrum, they are equipped to attend to the multiple facets of a project, irrespective of the scale and typology. Their practice is informed by research and driven by dialogue and collaboration that perseveres to create resilient built environments.
