I managed the development of a spatial data platform for Guwahati, the capital of the North Eastern state of Assam. The platform was demonstrated to a range of stakeholders in a 1-day workshop. The platform was premised on the value of open data.
- Platform proof-of-concept was demonstrated to 21 public, private and academic planners
- Extended feedback reports on the use cases for such a platform
- Significant potential for future expansion to other cities
Through the proof-of-concept programme, we were able to enhance acceptance and appetite for open data spatial information platforms, to support town planning aims.
