Anant Maringanti is a human geographer based in Hyderabad. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota and leads the Hyderabad Urban Lab Foundation. He is mainly interested in social movements centred on housing, work, and environmental equity in cities of the Global South. As director of Hyderabad Urban Lab, he leads and participates in a number collaborative projects involving multiple stakeholders – urban researchers, practitioners and students.
