Round-tables and Management Development Programmes (MDP) on affordable housing

The programmes were co-funded by HUDCO and the Government of Karnataka.

I co-led round-table conferences and Management Development Programmes (MDP) for the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO), on affordable housing, and the Karnataka Affordable Housing Policy.

  • More than 100 officials of HUDCO were trained in these programmes

We were able to introduce the Chatham House method for hosting round-table conferences. The round-tables on affordable housing attracted participation from elected representatives, including the Hon’ble Housing Minister of the Government of Karnataka. Through these convenings, we were able to build and strengthen our network of public, private and academic sector practitioner-pedagogues in these sectors.
